About our classes
Our classes are small and interactive. Class fees cover basic expenses,
and sometimes include an honorarium for guest instructors. Any proceeds
in excess of direct costs benefit the programs of BBG including
the garden itself, plant conservation research, and educational
programs.
All classes and events require pre-paid registration. Classes do
fill up, so register early.
- Gift certificates are available for classes.
- Class participants are encouraged to stroll through the garden
before or after a class.
- Hospitality at most classes (though not hikes and outings) includes
refreshments.

Easy ways to register
- Call (503) 636-4112 ext. 102 with credit card (MC/VISA) and
expiration date.
- Complete and mail registration
form with payment.
- In person, with check, cash or credit card during office hours.
- Via Paypal, using the button at the class listing.
Please do not send credit card numbers via e-mail.

Confirmations
After we have received payment, we will send you a notice indicating
the status of your enrollment. Please read this letter; it may contain
additional information about the class. Let us know if you’d
rather receive this information via email. Email helps us to reduce
paper use and postage costs.
Cancellations
Every class and tour is held rain or shine. If anything is canceled,
all registrants will be notified as soon as possible and will be
fully reimbursed.
Refunds
If for some reason, you need to cancel your registration, notify
us within 7 days of the scheduled event. At that time, you may choose
a refund, credit for a future class, or donate the class fee to
The Garden. Class credits must be used within one year.
Car-pooling:
Unless otherwise noted, all classes and trips take place at or originate
from The Berry Botanic Garden. For trips and tours, we encourage
car pooling, which you can arrange among yourselves upon your arrival.
