Horticulture ~ Plants and Grounds
Caring for the Garden
To keep the garden growing and healthy requires basic gardening
such as weeding, raking, planting, mulching, pruning, renovating
planting beds, adding new plants, amending soil and monitoring the
health of the collections. Using an Integrated Pest Management approach,
we practice maintenance techniques that promote plant health, have
minimal negative effects on the environment and benefit wildlife
habitat.
